Senior Warehouse Software Expert

The right candidate for this position will assist in the Distribution Center in a significant warehouse restructuring. After that initial project is complete, new projects, features and functions will be planned and implemented to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the distribution center.

Analytical Skills
• Prepare analysis and business design documents, listening to users to understand their needs
• Familiarity with wholesale, ecommerce and brick-and-mortar retail stores warehousing functions a plus

Technical Skills
• Create technical design documents
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with RPG, RPGLE, SQL on i-series
• Prepare and execute test plans, including set up of test environment

Software Skills
• Minimum 7 years’ experience with Manhattan Associates WMi platform
• Experience implementing and maintaining new processes and procedures in the Distribution Center
• Experience implementing and maintaining software bridges between WMi and other packages; experience with RLM and Inovis a plus
• Experience with WMi upgrades a plus
• Familiar with interfacing new warehouse technology through WMi, working with 3rd party vendors

Project Skills
• Plan day-to-day activities and software projects for the distribution center
• Actively participate in company projects as the warehousing software expert
• Prepare and execute implementation plans

Support
• Day to day support of WMi software and interfaces
• Day to day support of special DC equipment and hardware
• Other activities as required by the business
• Minimal travel required
• Some evenings and weekends required

• Location is Lyndhurst, NJ
• Full time perm position , Salary $100-110k
• Must Be USC or Green Card holder only
