IT Manager

Seeking an IT Manager who is responsible and accountable for the smooth running of computer systems with strong communication skills.

• This is a hands-on environment, will be working directly with users and upper level / CEO .
• This position is onsite in Rye , NYC
• Salary 100K+
• This is a Full time perm position but if someone wants to do this as a contract that is fine also
• Must be able to commute to the office and occasional to Cape Cod.  NY
• Company is a financial firm

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee IT procedures and operations.
• Assist in strategic planning and risk analysis.
• Identify information system needs.
• Establish priorities for system upgrades.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify intrusions.
• Optimize ongoing network design.

Overall environment for awareness:

• Cisco Meraki firewall and WAPs in Rye
• Office365 environment (30-40 total active accounts)
• Mostly Laptops (Windows 10/11 Professional with one Mac user) with a few desktops (mostly just the CEO) about 35 total endpoints.
• Everyone has a mobile and possibly a tablet – android and iOS are included.
• Barracuda for email filtering and email ATP and O365 backups
• Sophos MTR for AV/AM
• CyberSafe – monitoring email logins/activity
• Box – Document Management
• InfoSeqIQ for Security Awareness
• Zoom for Teleconferencing
• RingCentral VoIP
• Server and software to manage the office entry
• Global relay – O365 compliance backups
• CloudAlly – Box backups
• AvePoint – SFDC backups

Qualifications:

• Must have 5- 10 Years experience in IT or other related fields
• Ability to evaluate software and hardware
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• This is a hands on position, will be working with users/ jack of all trades
