The position is a full time position on site for a distribution company that sells a full range of products to convenience stores, specialty shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. They are one of most successful and well-respected companies in the industry.
The corporate headquarters is located tight by the New Brunswick Park and Ride and the New Jersey Avenue train station. They have free on-site parking.
About the Job
This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager and is responsible for:
- Performing day to day financial transactions, such as calculating, verifying, classifying, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
- Working with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues and expedite payment processing.
- Generating and analyzing financial statements and reports that detail the status of accounts receivable.
- Following up on overdue accounts, negotiating payment plans, and escalating delinquent accounts to collection agencies.
- Answering emails and phone calls regarding accounts receivable and resolving any discrepancies or problems.
About You
- Two years or more experience in accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Salary 60-70K per annum
