This position is reporting to: Chief Information Officer

  • Salary: 90-110k
  • Position is in ON SITE in White Plains, NY
  • Must be vaccinated.
  • SSRS/SSIS and excellent SQL experience
  • No relocation –local candidates only that can commute to site
  • Again this position is ON SITE

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in MIS or Technical School Training.
  • Travel: Travel may be required for business purposes. If so, the employee must have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they work and a satisfactory driving record.

Work Experience:

  • At least 3 years report development and analytic experience
  • Working with users in a requirements analysis and documentation role
  • Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
  • Healthcare & Clinical workflow experience
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI.
  • SQL Programming, scripting and stored procedures experience.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred.
  • Experience with Analysis Services
  • Experience with data cube development and reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft SSIS
  • Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal ( verbal and written) communication skills are required to support
  • Working in project environments that includes internal and external teams
  • Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures
  • Thorough understanding of complex data models for healthcare and clinical business systems and the underlying associated processes

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with managers and inter-departmental teams to design, develop, modify and generate reports using data stored in multiple proprietary and commercial line of business applications – some of which store data in SQL Server databases.
  • Collaborate with a team of department heads and other IT staff to create and enhance clinical intelligence and business intelligence solutions.
  • Provide support as required to ensure the availability and maintenance of existing, developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users
  • Design and implement best practices and guidelines for report generation – canned and ad-hoc reports.
  • Performance tuning of reporting queries for best performance
