Qualifications:  

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in MIS or Technical School Training.
  • Travel: Travel may be required for business purposes. If so, the employee must have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they work and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Position is in  White Plains—ONSITE -3 days a week and 2 days in NYC [ MIDTOWN ]
  • Must be vaccinated

 Work Experience:

  1. At least 3 years report development and analytic experience
  2. Working with users in a requirements analysis and documentation role
  3. Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
  4. Healthcare & Clinical workflow experience
  5. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI.
  6. SQL Programming, scripting and stored procedures experience.
  7. knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred.
  8. Experience with Analysis Services
  9. Experience with data cube development and reporting
  10. Experience with Microsoft SSIS
  11. Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
  12. Excellent interpersonal ( verbal and written) communication skills are required to support
  13. Working in project environments that includes internal and external teams
  14. Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures
  15. Thorough understanding of complex data models for healthcare and clinical business systems and the underlying associated processes

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  1. Works with managers and inter-departmental teams to design, develop, modify and generate reports using data stored in multiple proprietary and commercial line of business applications – some of which store data in SQL Server databases.
  2. Collaborate with a team of department heads and other IT staff to create and enhance clinical intelligence and business intelligence solutions.
  3. Provide support as required to ensure the availability and maintenance of existing, developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users
  4. Design and implement best practices and guidelines for report generation – canned and ad-hoc reports.
  5. Performance tuning of reporting queries for best performance
